My name is Kyra Williams and I am the Farm to College Coordinator at the University of Montana working with Dining Services. My job is to help the University source local food for its venues as well as help plan events educating the campus about the benefits of eating locally. On September 16th, from 4:30-7:00 Dining Services will be hosting the Farm to College “Feast”ival in celebration of Montana’s food cycle and the harvest season. This blog is to keep you all updated on the development of the event and the development of our crops for the event that we contracted out back in December. Yeah, December.
